6 Months Old!!!!

Half a year old. Has it really been that long since these guys arrived? I love posting these birthday pics every month. I always take time to look through their previous photos. They have really changed since they first arrived. They continue to change daily. I wish there was some way to stop it but I am afraid it is out of my control.
Happy Birthday Boys!!!

5 Months old!

The boys turned 5 months old today.
Since last month the boys...
Started Eating 1 serving of vegetables a day and as of today had their first serving of fruit
Now fit in size 2 diapers
Love crinkle toys
Recognize each other and smile when they do so
Recognize their parents and their voices
Are wearing some 0-3 mo. clothes (mostly Gavin) and some 3-6 mo. clothes (mostly Mason)
can stiffen their legs and stand when supported
take one long nap as well as 2-3 little ones every day
Have made one trip to Walmart (won't be going back), several trips to Hobby Lobby, and have accompanied their parents to dinner on a few occasions
We can't wait to see what the next month has in store for our wonderful little boys.

Jump, Jump, Jump - Must Keep Jumping

It seems each new week the boys are learning something new. Whether it be to roll over, laugh, or grab toys we have gotten the biggest kick out of their new found tricks. We are loving watching them grow. Although hearing and seeing them laugh is probably my favorite, figuring out the Jumperoo is a close second. Fisher Price sure knew what they were doing when they created this suspending jumping activity station. At first the boys just sat in it (with the help of a towel - they are still a little small for it). Even with the support of a pillow under their legs they weren't really sure what to do. It took several days and us bouncing their little legs for them and they finally figured it out. The Jumperoo is a hit! The boys love their reverse bungy station. It has even become a quick fix for when Gavin gets fussy. He's definitely getting his daily allotted physical activity with this contraption. They are some jumping fools and we just love watching them in action. Hence the pictures below.

Just chilling - Mason is watching the fan, Gavin is watching Mason watch the fan.

So happy to be jumping!

Still not sure what to do - the early Jumperoo days.

Gavin has jumped himself to sleep. Several seconds later he woke up and began jumping again.
"Must keep jumping, must keep jumping."
Thank you Fisher Price we love our Jumperoo!

What a Year

Almost a year has past since Kevin and I went through IVF to start a family. It seems so long ago since the day our doctor performed the procedure which enabled us to be parents. Little did we know what was in store for us. It' s still hard to believe we are parents and that Gavin and Mason will be 5 months old in a few weeks.

For the most part were are settling in to a routine (as much as you can with 2 infants). We are very blessed to have healthy happy babies. They have their routine down and are for the most part pretty easy going. Right now that's more than we could ever ask for. They are changing quickly though and seem to be growing by the day. I've tried to convince them to stop but they haven't gotten the message.

I wish there was more to report, but life is pretty quiet for us (even with crying babies every now and again). Hope everyone had a blessed Easter weekend.
